George Pappas

George is the Company’s Memphis area Managing Principal as well as its Senior Trust Officer. In this role, he works with families and their professional advisors in delivering trust and legacy plan services and solutions. As a licensed attorney (non-practicing) with over two decades of experience in trust administration, he serves as a mentor and resource to the Company’s trust administration team.

George attended the University of Memphis for his B.A. degree in History, and the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in Memphis for his law degree. In addition, George is a graduate of the American Bankers Association National Graduate Trust School at the University of Chicago. He also regularly attends trust, estate and tax seminars, including the University of Miami Law School Heckerling Institute of Estate Planning.

Prior to joining Pendleton Square, George served in trust administration and leadership roles at First Tennessee Bank, Argent Trust Company of Tennessee and Regions Morgan Keegan Trust. George lives in Memphis; and when he is not working, you will find him with his nose in a book, listening to music, walking his dogs, visiting family in Greece, or just about anything exciting when his twin sons come to town.
