Bob is Managing Director, Atlanta, and is responsible for managing the Company’s Atlanta team of trust administration professionals and for building relationships in Georgia and nearby areas. In building new relationships, he partners with families, their professional advisors and other members of the Pendleton Square team to design and implement fiduciary services customized to meet family needs and objectives
Before joining Pendleton Square, Bob served in leadership roles in several Atlanta area investment and wealth management firms where he and his teams worked collaboratively with individuals, families and business owners to help them achieve their financial goals and build their legacies. Prior to transitioning to a career in investment and wealth management, he served as Vice President, Division of Institutional Advancement, at Emory University, and was a partner in the law firm of King & Spalding where his law practice of 20 years involved nationally- and internationally-based experience in hospitality-related and commercial real estate and capital transactions (including public and private debt and equity financings), corporate law, and related practice areas.
Bob is a four-time graduate of Emory University, holding an Associate of Arts degree from Emory’s Oxford College, a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in English literature and developmental psychology from Emory College of Arts & Sciences, an MBA (concentration in corporate finance) from Emory’s Goizueta Business School, and a Juris Doctor degree from Emory Law School. Bob presently serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Center for the Visually Impaired in Atlanta.
