Bob Pennington

Bob Pennington serves as Managing Director, Atlanta, where he leads Pendleton Square’s trust administration team and is responsible for developing client and professional advisor relationships throughout Georgia and the surrounding region. Working closely with families, their advisors, and colleagues across the firm, he helps design and implement customized fiduciary solutions aligned with each family’s unique goals and needs.

Before joining Pendleton Square, Bob held leadership positions with several Atlanta-based investment and wealth management firms, advising individuals, families, and business owners on wealth planning, financial stewardship, and legacy objectives.

Earlier in his career, Bob served as Vice President in Emory University’s Division of Institutional Advancement and practiced law for 20 years as a partner at King & Spalding. His legal practice focused on hospitality and commercial real estate transactions, public and private debt and equity financings, corporate law, and related matters, with experience spanning both domestic and international markets.

Bob is a four-time graduate of Emory University, earning an Associate of Arts degree from Oxford College, a Bachelor of Arts with honors in developmental psychology and English literature from Emory College of Arts & Sciences, an MBA with a concentration in corporate finance from Goizueta Business School, and a Juris Doctor from Emory Law School.

He recently concluded his term as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Center for the Visually Impaired in Atlanta.
