Prior to transitioning to a career in investment and wealth management, he served as Vice President, Division of Institutional Advancement, at Emory University, and was a partner in the law firm of King & Spalding where his law practice of 20 years involved nationally- and internationally-based experience in commercial real estate and capital transactions (including public and private debt and equity financings), corporate law, and related practice areas.
