George Pappas

George is Managing Director, Memphis, and Senior Trust Officer. In these roles, he leads the Memphis team of trust professionals and partners with families and their advisors to deliver trust and legacy plan services and solutions. As a licensed attorney (non-practicing) with over three decades of experience in trust administration, he serves as a mentor and resource to the Company’s trust administration team.

George attended the University of Memphis for his B.A. degree in History, and the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in Memphis for his law degree. In addition, George is a graduate of the American Bankers Association National Graduate Trust School at the University of Chicago. He also regularly attends trust, estate and tax seminars, including the University of Miami Law School Heckerling Institute of Estate Planning.

Prior to joining Pendleton Square, George served in trust administration and leadership roles at First Tennessee Bank, Argent Trust Company of Tennessee and Regions Morgan Keegan Trust. George lives in Memphis; and when he is not working, you will find him with his nose in a book, listening to music, walking his dog, visiting family in Greece, or with his sons, family and friends in and around Memphis.
